Apostille from the Civil Registry Authority

The apostille to original civil status certificates is affixed by territorial civil registry offices. Civil registry offices affix an apostille to the following documents:

• birth certificates;
• marriage certificates;
• certificates of marriage dissolution;
• death certificates;
• certificates of absence/availability of marriage registration records;
• acknowledgments of paternity;
• certificates of adoption;
• certificates of change of name.

The provision of original documents is necessary for our Agency to render services related to the affixing of an apostille to the documents issued by the territorial bodies of the Civil Registry Authority for Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region. No power of attorney to submit and receive documents is required.
